Bomb threat halts CWL Dallas

Call of Duty players will be playing all day Saturday after a Dallas convention center was evacuated following a bomb threat on Friday afternoon. Hours later, police said explosives were not found at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center where the $200,000 CWL Dallas is being held through Sunday. As of press time, we have not received word on any pending investigation regarding the source of the bomb threat.

Games will resume at 10am local time on Saturday, and will continue on a tight schedule for the rest of the weekend.

Tournament favorites and 2017 World Champions OpTic Gaming were playing on stage when a fire alarm went off, and were told to leave:

CWL Dallas is an MLG-run tournament and the kickoff LAN event for the Call of Duty: World War II season.

The event features a 160 team Open Bracket and 16 of the best teams in the world competing in Pool Play.  The first place team will go home with $80,000.
