One of the biggest fighting game events in North America took place over the weekend in the form of Community Effort Orlando, also known as CEO 2017 at the Wyndam Orlando Resort. CEO events are held throughout the year by FGC enthusiast and tournament runner Alex Jebailey.
This year, there was a lot on the line at the various tournaments at CEO, since it was a stop on various championship tours for major esports titles like Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, Tekken 7, Pokkén and Killer Instinct. The major events and the crowd hype made for some memorable moments, and attracted some of the best FGC talent from around the world.

Eight streams were running throughout the event with varying degrees of capability. According to Jebailey, internet issues at the venue resulted in some of the stream outages.
