Sixteen teams are set to battle online this weekend for a chance to qualify for the HCS NA Pro League LAN qualifier in May. Two teams have qualified for the Halo Championship Series Pro League thus far: Counter Logic Gaming by way of winning the Halo World Championship, and Evil Geniuses by winning the PAX East Invitational.
The tournament is double elimination format with top two teams from each of the groups moving on to the LAN qualifier at ESL studios in Burbank, California.
