CS:GO’s next major is happening in January of 2017, and teams will be working this weekend for a chance to qualify for the event. 16 squads will be in Atlanta, Georgia for the competition, including the bottom 8 teams from ESL One: Cologne, and the top 8 teams from the Atlanta Minor Championships.
Check out our guide to watching CS:GO!
Each match over the weekend will be a best of one, so there’s little room for error. The teams that qualify in the 3rd-5th rounds of competition will return to Atlanta in January to compete at the historic Fox Theatre in the ELEAGUE Major. A one million dollar prize is at stake for the teams who qualify for the first major of 2017.
